Detailed Product Description

This product boasts the merits of great heat resistance, high cut-through temperature, and supreme refrigerant resistance, which is suitable for high-speed winding. The product is applicable to the windings of air-conditioning motor, electric tool, motor of washing machine, micro-motor, explosion-proof motor, ballast and other H-grade insulated small and medium motors, dry type transformer, electronic apparatuses and hermetically-sealed electric equipments, etc.

Features of Copper-clad aluminum enameled wire:

1. DC resistivity: the DC resistivity of Bokai copper-clad aluminum enameled wire is 1.40-1.45 times that of the pure copper wire; for equivalent resistance value, the weight of copper-clad aluminum wire is only 1/2 that of the pure copper wire.

2. Supreme solderability: with a coat of pure coat, the copper-clad aluminum enameled wire boasts the same brazeability as the pure copper wire, no need for special treatment; meanwhile, Bokai copper-clad aluminum enameled wire is coated with a thick copper layer to ensure that the solderability shall not be harmed during the scrape;

3. Light weight: the density of Bokai copper-clad aluminum enameled wire is only 1/2.5 that of the pure copper wire of the same diameter, which can efficiently reduce the weight of coil; the replacement of copper wire with Bokai copper-clad aluminum enameled wire can realize a cost saving of more than 30%.

Product performance ratio:

1. Copper-clad aluminum wire high-frequency skin depth property

Current of high-frequency shall mainly be transmitted via the surface layer, which shall result in the so-called skin effect, while the current transmitted via the core of the conductor is very little or even no. The depth of current accumulated in the surface layer of the conductor can be indicated by skin depth δ. The skin depth of copper wire can be computed by the following equation:

δ=67/f1/2mm, where f refers to frequency (Hz)

The thinnest copper layers of cooper-clad aluminum wire commonly used in coaxial cable and the skin depths of current transmitted in the frequency of 5100MHz are as follows:
